It's been hard to figure things out. I knew I wanted some place to write and social media is... Well, it's social media so fragmented to fuck and away. And short. Everything has to be short and while I do struggle after a certain point — one reason why I didn't get along with certain university courses — having space to put down more than surface thoughts is good.
And then that curse we've been saddled with since the 2010s about branding came up. "Everyone is their own brand and you should market it." I hate it. Enjoy my art be don't perceive me. Almost wrote "pervceive" so yes, I'm dyslexic. Branding. Self-branding si the worst. I don't want to do that.
I still struggled up until a few hours ago. I had no idea what to do here. But it's starting to blend together, and me starting to write campaign worldbuilding and game mastering notes in Obsidian has helped a lot. Clearly something with the name Mistfaun needs to be about fantasy. So that's that.
So thoughts about fantasy books, movies, games, and art. All in the mix. There will probably be quite a bit of things from the rpg campaign world, but we're playing Legend in the Mist and not D&D so expect it to look pretty system neutral. "Ready" for use in whatever as long as it's low on rules and stats.
(Subscribe don't send out any mail. As it is today, I can't afford mailgun. I do hope to be bale to turn that on sometime.)
